@Joshua FuYou can try areas near Journal square for property around your budget(or even less).

Cost me about 10 grand but they measure by the linear foot so it obviously depends on the size of the basement.

What are you getting quoted per square foot?

I have completely different people I call for a 1000 sq foot ranch that needs a full gut than I would call for a 3500 sq ft farm house on 4 acres just 2 miles away. 

Bathrooms, water closet compartments and other similar rooms shall be provided with aggregate glazing area in windows of not less than 3 square feet (0.3 m2), one-half of which must be openable.

In my research, most permanent dwellings (on foundations) need to be at least 400 square feet, and tiny homes are frequently smaller than that.
