I would also suggest attending local meetups and REIA meetings as these are a great way to connect with like-minded individuals.

Mid 2015 I quit and went full time and closed 9 deals. 2016 was my breakthrough year and I closed 24 and was on top of the world. 2017 i closed 7 and went back to being a mechanic in July to make ends meet.
