In a very ugly town. i bought 2 duplexes for around $57,000. each unit rents out for an average of $350 plus or minus $25-$50. high taxes and insurance but they still turn a profit. plus i could sell each home for $35,000.

I hooked up with him at an REI club meeting and used him for about 15 years.I live in a town that's pretty small (we got a HD 3 years ago), but obviously we're large enough to have a "contractors supply" (side road location, not generally interested in doing business with the public) and a "lumber yard" (busy highway location-definitely interested in everyone's business).

Maybe you can just find some web sites that let you list land online, or just put them on ebay and see what happens .. you can also create signs around town that say "land for sale" .. with a number and directions, maybe an address ... post in forums, and local bulletin boards around town ..
