Are you seeking a long term tenant, like a retired type or an employed tenant in that area, who is the target market?

(rather than call the name on the application who I believe to be the desk clerk).In other words, is it within fair housing laws to verify the information with the employer in my own way, or must I restrict verification to the name she listed on the application?

Its one of the big companies, and a former employer used them for health/dependent care accounts.

Shes REI/Wholesaler friendly but I looked up pass thru closing and thats nothing of the tactic you employ.

I have no history of rehab projects but I am employed as a project engineer at an electrical utility so planning and managing large projects is what I do day in and day out.

Trust between a tenant and a landlord is peculiar topic.In my mind, the tenant must earn the trust of the landlord (through credit check, background check, verification of employment, verification of current residence, etc) before the landlord can trust the tenant with the landlord's property.The only thing the landlord owes the tenant is that the landlord will abide by the lease and federal/state/local laws.

This is not to be confused with a "Salesperson" who is employed by a home builder.
