If you can't manage to build credit, it's likely you won't be able to manage your financial life either.That being said...plenty of wealthy people have terrible credit and plenty of poor people have great credit...it's how you use it that makes the difference.Short answer; very important.P.S.

I cant find one exactly on the main drag for under 100k but as long as its within walking distance it fits the culture i want.
