In the Boston area it's also good to think about what areas you want to work in and what markets you're looking to be a part of....the student market is great, but very intense for a few months out of the year when it comes to rentals...the professional market is steadier, but tends to be more focused to specific areas of the city....sales is always a rat race :)This is speaking from my experience working in the "Boston Proper" area of the city meaning Beacon Hill, Back Bay, Fenway, and the South End.
