Boardwalk Proprties - Boston Massachusetts

Good Afternoon Everybody!

I wanted to ask if anyone on here knows anything about Boardwalk Properties in Boston, MA. I am a Junior in college right now and want to get a head start in the real estate business. Because I have no money I figured that my best bet would be to work as a real estate agent for the summer and make some cash on some rentals or sales.

Thank you to anyone who can help,

Howell

Hi Howell,

Leasing and/or selling Residential Real Estate is a tough business but can be very rewarding financially and personally. Most firms do not pay a salary and so you will only make money if you work your butt off and close sales. I would highly recommend you run a Google search on any company you are considering joining. Read all the reviews posted on GlassDoor, Yelp, the Better Business Bureau, etc. Some managers will tell you anything to get you signed up with their brokerage but you really need to do your research before you make your final choice. I think you are on the right track by considering working with brokerage that secures most of their business through rentals. You can make a great deal of money on rentals but you want to make sure you feel good about who you affiliate with and are able to sleep at the end of the day. Feel free to get in touch if you want to grab a cup of coffee and discuss things further. All the best with your efforts.
