They seem to provide a lot of training materials and support for us remote investors, which is the main reason we're keen to give them some cash. 

While I recommend a number of brokers I trust and value to others looking to buy parks, I personally rely on relationships I have developed over the years to find the parks I am interested in buying, as do many successful mid sized to large operators.Frank & Dave teach techniques for building these relationships through their Boot Camps and other materials.

I am in the process of attacking social media, driving those leads to my website that will be full of educational material regarding real estate.

Thus far, I have been reading through the materials on the site and listening to the webinars, and it is definitely some good information. 

The minimum code requirement for your area would be good starting point and if you desire more, so be it.With that in mind, you'll want to calculate the amount of material needed to get to that R-Value for the whole area being covered, and work from there to compare costs (factoring in equipment as may be needed if blowing in the insulation).  

We estimate about $20-$25K in materials with me doing almost the entirety of the work myself.

An average roof job will be 5-7k in materials alone.

But it comes in closer now to the benchmark, but  I do much of the work myself (so I am mostly just materials there and hiring it out would put us over 10% still).
