Accounting is very practical and immediately applies to real estate activities as an investor.  

Is this wishful thinking or is this a practice that currently goes on.  

If you have any time for it you could practice with repair and rehab construction-type projects that will give you more confidence.  

Now its practically a fight to grab the last penny. 

Learning how to listen for distress, motivation and flexibility while communicating valuable information to the seller to win them to your side to close the deal are all things worth practicing.

I used to have some cases down there when I practiced law in Atlanta 15 years ago.

They are trying to make thousands of dollars without adding any value to the transaction (at least the initial wholesaler found the deal and got it under contract).From a free market point of view, if the #s are good it shouldn't matter who the middle man/men/women are or how many, but as a practical matter "too many cooks spoil the broth" and I'll avoid those deals no matter how good they seem.

The filter seems to be practically screaming about the value buy in Naples.

I have been considering obtaining a general contractors license only so that I can obtain additional builders insurance to protect myself because going through each contractor's insurance paper work and asking them to add me to their policy is not practical on some smaller cosmetic jobs.
