On the other hand, the muni's responsibility is to make sure its residents are safe.

I warn that they offer a lot of information on properties but it’s not very accurate so I don’t consider this doing due diligence.

I would just collect some extra security deposit, add them to the lease(if kid is over 18) and make sure they understand they are all responsible for the rent and that an eviction will go on all of their records if they default.

So to me it seems like owner had it rented in 2014, he's no where to be found...property has been seized and taken from bank maintenance company.I called the bank after purchasing the property and they said since i'm not the owner they can't give me a code to open the property and said 3rd party purchaser are responsible to taking possession on their own.I called my lawyer and he said I should go ahead and get the locks changed.

It’s a little bit smaller of an operation in comparison to some of the others in town but Lexi takes good care of her properties and is very responsive.
