The entire back half of the house was sagging, the blocks had cracked as the foundation had given way and you could actually see the wall leaning out at almost a 30 degree angle.

The other items are all part of one item,(the walls and ceiling) therefore they would be combined and depreciated assuming your cost was above $2,500).

Hello all,We recently purchased and rented out a town-home, and discovered that after the tenant had moved in, signed lease - that although we had cleaned the place (basic carpet, windows, walls, counters etc.) we didn't know the prior owner had pets (apparently).

People who have previously lived in mobile homes (with pipes underneath) or apartments with pipes in the exterior walls and not much insulation may have dealt with burst pipes before; they would be happy to "waste" a little water to prevent that, especially if somebody else is paying the water bill.Leaky toilet flappers can waste water when the toilet runs by itself.

Property manager also recommends tearing out part of the dry wall between the kitchen and bathroom to check for mold... there were some dark mildew/mold like spots on the wall under the kitchen sink... seems like overkill, what do you guys think?
