I'm digging through the forums trying to find the answers to my own questions, however, I appreciate the input!

With an interested investor I know, I tried to do some digging. 

Hello BP,I have been doing some digging on a few properties that are vacant.

Many of the lots in these high end neighborhoods are selling at much lower prices than the owners paid at the peak of the market several years ago.Is anyone currently investing in this area, if so I would love a few pointers on how to dig a little deeper into this to see if the profitability is there and what is the risk factor in spec building vs rentals. 

Even full time, they do take a lot of work to dig up.The only other thing I'd want to add is that there's value in both working with sources (wholesalers) and maintaining your own marketing campaign.

I live/work overseas so getting a loan is much tougher, banks ask a lot more questions and dig deeper but the way to get a loan is keep asking.  

Ive been digging for answers but am having trouble understanding why noone wants to touch it. 

@Jordas Reyes did you find an alternate route or are you still digging around?
