I have short saled and flipped 13 houses in my career, and just moved back to CA a few months ago, and looking to get back in the game.

This is definitely a cheaper route, but also not the most structured way of learning or building a truly systems dependent business.I also think people often underestimate the risk associated with real estate investing as your mistakes throughout your career can be much more expensive then any investment in your education, systems, and technology.

We both work the 9-5 and have been successful in our careers and now we are trying our hand at real estate investing.

This provides a nice way to build the relationship and will pay dividends as you move through your investment career. 

Hi All, my friend wants to move to LA or Bay Area to start her Real Estate Agent career.

I'm always working from home or the field, which is what my clients expect.

Seeing as how little experience i have in this field I would say doing that would be way out of my league and should be pursued by a much more experienced investor and/or developer.I really think this has potential to be a good a deal but I need some guidance and direction on which way i should go or who i should even be dealing with on this.If anyone could give me some ideas as to the best way to approach this I would highly appreciate it.Thanks for any input, I look forward to chatting with you guys and gals about this.Until then, stay blessed.

I live in Long Island.  I completed all the requirements to become a real estate salesperson.  I'm not sure if I want to specialize in commercial or residential.  Franchise or independent? I know I should be concerned...

Typically you are required to have a two year work history, but if you were in school and obtained a job in your field, that will count towards your two years.

I have had over 100 mortgages in my investing career do to having my own real estate investment fix and flip company.
