The skill comes from knowledge not practice.eg: It is highly advisable that applicants be thoroughly screened and the screening criteria is fairly standard yet landlords repeatedly post on here with tenant problems as a result of not screening applicants.

So my guess is that the husband now has moved in to your unit, and you probably did not authorize that in writing, and you probably did not do background screening on the husband ...
