When you are a grad student or a medical student you need peace to be able to study and a lack of roommate drama may be appealing.  

Real estate brokers are perfectly positioned to match such counterparties and to establish real estate derivatives as a liquid investment market.The unique advantage of real estate as compared to traditional financial assets is that hardly anyone in the residential market has any idea how to price and value options.

I'm comfortable on the job site as a project manager, talking to customers for new sales and issues that arise during construction, and in the office as an estimator, scheduler, and materials coordinator. 15+ years in the medical device industry as a mechanical engineer.

That said, I have contemplated buying a multi-family closer to the law school and medical school, hoping to attract some guys to rent.

There is a lot of grey area in between, medical conditions, landlord negligence etc...A city council in my county just passed a referendum that would require tenants to split the cost with landlord for specific repairs related to natural disasters, very interesting.

I am hoping this was unique to the FHA 203K to Conventional refinance (no cash out) as my current project is going to be cash to Conventional (with cash out).

Very curious if there are unique ways of creating other streams of income within the rental process that someone is doing?
