Unless you plan on making real estate your career, I would stay in Miami and work a bit and save as much as you can.

Investors started noticing and thinking "why should I pay $2 million in one nowhere place when I can buy in a slightly farther nowhere and save $1 million."

I have student loans that I'm prioritizing paying down but after reading through some posts in this forum I've decided to simultaneously save up enough money for a down payment to do my first house hack next year.

We could also do it the old fashion and save for a down payment.  

Sounds to me, like the developer ditched the 24 units, built 7 apartments just to save the deal, now wants to sell the 24 unit project.

Work hard, take on additional work, live a conservative life style, change your habits and circle of friends, save money and concentrate on getting your credit up into the high 700s.To be successful you need to modify your life style.

My investment real estate agent recommended a mortgage broker that is located in a different city than the one I currently live / invest in.My question is that I have not met this mortgage broker and that he requested a lot of information ( Social Insurance number, wages, income, saving and so on...).
