I am looking at getting into rental properties both single and multi-family.

After that, I am undecided on multi vs single family, but have a feeling that multi will dominate, as I am always looking for bigger and better.

I'm looking at properties trying to see if there is a good deal to be found but it seems sellers of small multi families are living in a dreamworld when it comes to prices.

My long term goal is to acquire enough long term buy-and-hold cash flowing rentals (SFH or Multi, depends on the market as this progresses) to replace my salaried income and ultimately, achieve FI.Looking forward to meeting some of you.

Hello, I recently graduated with a degree in Finance and Real Estate which gave me a lot of experience as far as understanding the numbers, finance, and business side of real estate but I do not have much "hands on" experience as far as fixing appliances, home ownership (I've rented up until now), etc. 

I am looking to become a landlord and purchase a multi-family home in Greenwich, CT or Westchester, NY. 

My fiance and I are moving to Atlanta this fall and are going to use a 203k loan to rehab a multi-family (duplex, triplex, quadplex) and kickstart our real estate investing career.

We are in the process of moving to Marietta/Smryna GA and plan to use a 203k loan to fund a multi-family property.

My initial desire in real estate has been to do a house hack, preferably in a multi-unit building in order to rent out part of the property.
