Hello AIl! 

My name is Ernie Ortega, I am 25 years old, originally from Los Angeles but currently stationed in Northern Louisiana. I am an active duty Air Force crew chief. When I am not turning wrenches I am in the books going to school studying aeronautics as well as studying everything I can about real estate. My journey in real estate has started here at bigger pockets, the podcast sucked me in and I haven't stopped researching all I can on the subject of real estate. I am looking at getting into rental properties both single and multi-family. My overall goal is to have enough cash flow so when I retire from the Air Force,(in 14+ years depending on rank), that I would only have to work if I want to.  That's my long-term goal, my short-term goal is to acquire 3 properties in the next 2 years, 2 single family houses, and 1 multi-family property. 

I am super excited to be apart of this community and I can not wait to learn and finally jump into my first deal!
