My current tenant got an inspector to take multiple samples of asbestos.The biggest asbestos items are in the attic.Popcorn ceiling everywhere, tested at 1% asbestos.In your experience, does having asbestos in the house make it more difficult to rent out?

My husband and I are really struggling to devise a plan to purchase investment properties through a corporation.We have the corporate formed and funded through an intercompany loan ( I own a small business that does well).We had a semi successful large scale renovation through this company (we purchased a bad property, renovations went sideways and then the market stalled with the stress tests on mortgages - Yikes).

I don't suggest looking for properties in the MLS as it's full of intense competition but if you have plans to work with on market properties, you should get a license.
