If there are in fact cracks, holes, mud and earthworms in your main line, then I would consider this an emergency situation.It's possible your main line functions for another 10 years.

I did this a little over a year ago and learned enough to feel comfortable with how the program functioned. - If you talk to the folks at section 8 I would not take their guidance is gospel.
