It is incredible how many Tech start ups get started in a year and/or the growth on existing tech companies that few people have ever heard of.  

Did you build your own or buy existing ones?

Mitigating those typically comes with experience.I have investors invest with me passively as a syndicate but these are dark buildings already existing and easier to turn around than ground up developments.Right now it's hard to build one off spec projects.

Does anything work in our favor by the fact that these issues existed prior to purchase or that the specific issues raised were unknown to us?

Working on a short term rental permit in Yucca Valley, CA and noticed that permits exist for hot tubs.

Mind you, the existing HW heater was still working, but we knew it could die any moment.  

I haven’t executed a deal even though I scout out real estate on Zillow, Realtor.com, and LoopNet plus I bought a list of off market deals to pursue pre foreclosures I can get via subject to the existing financing.

I'm seeing here that this is more of a site for investors, which were not necessarily interested in buying or building for an airbnb, we are very interested, however, in building a home that we will live in & then rent out or make our existing home in Kenosha Wisconsin which is on Lake Michigan an airbnb.We know NOTHING about buying a lot & then building.That said,  We have been trying to figure out how we get the most Bang for our buck buying existing property or building our own home.We have been seeing some amazing properties around 50K in Yucca Valley and/or 29 palms that list having water and electric available nearby.We want simple clean lines,  I suppose what would be considered modern contemporary but I hate putting that title on it because for some reason it seems like there's an upcharge just by using that description, lol...

Normally that would take less than 60 days but we're in the "new normal" where justice no longer exists, particularly in a state like NJ, and you can expect to run into additional hurdles and delays.As you're evicting them, they may decide to steal all the kitchen cabinets, smash the toilets and windows, dump paint on the flooring, and other fun tricks.
