Brrrring is also one of my objectives, but watching the market for good fixer upper deals are somewhat dry, or locations are questionable for safer rentals risks. 

Hey BP,I total newbie to the real estate investment world, and my two sisters have inherited our mothers house in Scottsdale, AZ very older neighborhood built in 1966, and is definitely a fixer upper pool is dead and empty, and 4 br 2 bth about 2300 SF. 

They parlayed that into their dream house on the lake, and had enough to also buy a fixer upper on the lake that is now an air B&B.  

It sounds like what I need are handy men and General Contractors who can do the work to repair fixer uppers.

Right now we have it narrowed down to Bayview 53207, St Francis 53235, Upper East side 53202, Walker's Point 53204, Cudahy 53110, Glendale, River HIlls 53217, and possibly West Allis 53214. 

Which means, your cashed up partner would never go for such a simple idea.I'm not sure if you can find a Lender who will loan $30k to you to buy a $40k fixer upper (there are plenty of such properties in this here United States, but, not in appreciating neighborhoods). 

Fast forward... we bought a fixer upper coming out of college in an area some thought was crazy.

Which at our price point is a challenge.I had an idea Saturday which I’m willing to ask someone on here who’s smarter than me about:would anyone in the Nashville área happen to have a small fixer upper property they would be willing to either do a lease option on or owner finance?

Not turnkey, but not a fixer-upper either.
