Random, and possibly stupid question.

Hey bigger pockets crew!

So we made it to Nashville. Well, just south.

So, my new wife and I are out here in Columbia/ Franklin area looking for a rental. Which at our price point is a challenge.

I had an idea Saturday which I’m willing to ask someone on here who’s smarter than me about:

would anyone in the Nashville área happen to have a small fixer upper property they would be willing to either do a lease option on or owner finance?

I’d prefer lease option because i have nowhere near the amount of cash on hand that someone would be happy with for a downpayment.

With the price for cheap rentals out here I’d almost rather try to own a place rather than pay rent.

So if anyone has something off of I-65 between Brentwood and Columbia. I would definitely be interested in talking.

Thanks,

Jeff

You may not may not know this. That area as well as the way south of Nashville prices have skyrocketed in the past year.

There are entire Facebook groups for people moving from CA to Nashville and Franklin.

Stories of people putting offers $50,000 over ask and losing out

I have spoke with agents who receive over 50 calls the first day a listing comes out

Maybe try another area?
