Unless he lives very close to it, he'll probably consider it "too much work and too much gas" to travel there just to throw a rock through a window.

An eviction on the tenant's record certainly does that. 

You can get the information from their filing at Pacer (Public Access for Court Records) they will list the reason they filed and their current income.

Win the lawsuit, get a judgement AND RECORD the judgement against them.
