Absolutely agree...Which is why it's always interesting to revisit opinions after the facts are evident to determine whose opinions bore out and whose opinions were completely wrong.Only then do you start to recognize which opinions should be taken more seriously in the future...On the subject of the economy, it's those who have made accurate predictions in the past who now get my attention when they continue make predictions...and those people are few and far between...

their pitch is just so much more enticing than the real road to successful real estate careers: hard work, long years of education, familiarity with a specific market, and above average intelligence to recognize an opportunity along with the guts to risk your capital (having risk capital helps alot too!).

I think the "will you be running any type of home based busines" question should be part of the initial phone interview, not as a qualifier or disqualifier, but because the answer would influence considerations for rent, deposit and other items for negotiation.

Its an entrepreneur magazine and they do in depth interviews with the those who are rich and not so famous.Aside from that I use BP (duh lol) and Activerain (but I do have to say they are not investor friendly so i just really lurk there and don't participate )

While Frank is a successful real estate investor with two other books that pertain more directly to real estate, this particular book is one of the better ones for principles of success that you can apply to your life including practical, actionable things you can do to change your life using each of the principles.The first two are the most important: Recognize your highest calling as early as possible in life- and the odds are, for the vast majority of people your highest calling has zippity doo da to do with real estate.
