The property consists of three buildings: a duplex, a one-bed one-bath, and a small studio.  

I was hoping for 600/mo down there, but with the 10 foot ceilings, and large total square foot living area, this 2 bed apt is being advertised for $750/mo!  

Even Crown Heights, Bed-Stuy and East NY have gone up tremendously in the past 3 years.

I usually stay at Air Force Inns and they will charge me about $50 a night for a 3 bed 2 bath home fully furnished.

I've had the bug to get involved in investing for a while, and finally decided the time was right to make the move.  

Built 1939 2 bed , 1 bath, 900 sf.

I came up with $70,000.It is a 3 bed, 1 bath with partially finished basement, newer windows, larger lot, detached garage, newer siding and roof, 1100 sq feet, built in 1953.Currently rented for $795.Anyone have any experience in that area that can tell me if I am way off or in the ballpark?
