I really like Columbus OH because its beginner friendly (in the sense that prices are appreciating so almost anything you buy is worth more the next month) and there is a huge tenant pool to choose renters from.

Of course that takes the listing agent checking that flag when they input.There is also a field named "Accessory Unit" with a couple of different options....again it takes the input agent to flag those.You could also set up searches for description key words like Guest House, Accessory Unit, Pool House, MIL, Mother in Law, etc.There are not a lot of these unfortunately.

I think where I'm coming from is that you simply won't have historically strong appreciation in an area where there's high crime, bad schools, or a marginal tenant pool.
