I got a contractor bid and they said I should redo the entire wall/house, but I think it may be too much work and not needed.Do you think I'd be ok to just repaint the house, or should I consider redoing the entire house with stucco?

I like the concept of mixed use especially in redevelopment of inner city areas.

I buy additional units only within that radius, and I don't buy properties that are going to require intensive management by their nature, such as rooming houses.I have a maintenance man and a good contractor, and a network of tradespeople for other issues.

This thread is older and I think my thrust in getting involved with these housing entities was as a Director or contractor perfoming services in serving the mission.

I'd say, produce the option contract or let's talk about fraud.As mentioned above, it's not your problem, make your offer, it's the seller's responsibility to provide good title at the contract price.

Ive been a local contractor in Las Vegas since 1993 so I have great resources for rehabbing but still have to get into the property right.

Never heard of the site, but a couple options are:- call in 1+ general contractors to get bids- bring in a detailed description of the work and head to your local hardware stores.

I've proposed the investor buying it still, the contractor and I going in on the house together (I work with the contractor daily, so we are on a good working relationship) and when the contractor and I sell we give the investor $80k the contractor geting his ~$15-18k costs back to pay subs, etc. and the contractor being paid his $7-10k profit on the deal for his contracting work.
