I am big into using yelp and I check most everything out on there if I am in a new place and want to find anything from a good place to eat, to a place to stay for the night.

I do plan on diving into investing (I'm thinking fix and flips will have my heart) soon after I get the feel for residential real estate. 

how many nights have you heard shots fired?

I have a little RE experience and I am ready to dive in.  

Only 2 hours of sleep last night for me or you know I would have pulled it back out and dove right in.  

I had a client who almost lost her life changing a smoke detector battery, it was going off in the middle of the night and was on an 18' tall ceiling (why it had to be there I know not), she got an extension ladder out to change it, unfortunately the bamboo flooring allowed the ladder to slip and she slammed face down on the floor, a most awful accident...teeth, jaw...etc....it was really bad. 

Should I dive in and start with direct mailers?  

I'm a Title Attorney by day, and an aspiring real estate investor by night.
