While I cannot offer much advice on this path because I have only a small level of experience with this, I do know it's possible.I think your best bang for your buck would be partnering with an investor who will teach you everything, or getting a job related to the real estate industry and learn as much as you can until you can qualify or find that first deal.

Just wanted to add the cost of filing is about 365.00 cost of service for sheriff to service is about 75.00, Overall you'll have about minimum of 400 to 500 hundred bucks into getting this guy served,, and wait time is about 2 weeks from date you drop paperwork off at court.. then you have to take time off for court and you'll get either a morning date, or afternoon date,, so you'll spend up to a half day in the court hearing room waiting to have your case called..

Simply because the dollars are so. .high and folks that can afford ( lets say 10 props is a million bucks) generally start looking at multi family as it cash flow better its all in one spot etc.I see this often with folks that own 100 200 300 sfr's  exit to one buyer is Very very tough unless its B class and better...
