Hi everybody,I'm really excited to join BiggerPockets which I found out about through investfourmore.comI've a full time job at a consulting firm in downtown Houston, however I'm trying to get into REI part-time.My wife and I currently have 2 rentals - one in medical center and other in downtown houston.Originally from India, my parents always taught me to save and invest in real estate whenever I could.

And there will be plenty.Another is so many times the former owner will remove necessities, such as wiring, flooring, sinks, light bulbs, plumbing, doors, windows, and the list can be long.

If the buyer requests an extension of the closing for any reason, ask the agent and broker how confident they are that the extension will be long enough to get the deal closed. 9 out of 10 times, they'll tell you that they are certain or near-certain the extension will be enough time to conclude the deal.

I guess large complexes in good areas can be mismanaged as well.I have a friend just like you, who went from buying flips to moving up to 32 units at a time and then to a shopping center.
