The people who have what it takes to do deals, will probably succeed, especially when they have knowledgable people in their corner, at which point they will probably also say the program was well worth it.Another bonus of going to REIAs and meeting people who are really "doing it" - you might develop a relationship where you can call them when you need advice!

It is very difficult to succeed in any field you do not become a student of first.I also think joining a community will help you become more comfortable and build relationships that can help answer questions and direct you to the right resources.Finding someone who is doing what you want to do then become a sponge.
