Hi BP community, What is the industry norm (average) for referring a customer to a business broker who is looking to buy a business?

Hello a little new to the scene here but love the community!

Can't begin to say how impressed and motivated I am to have found this community.  

Following the Great Recession, the Big Banks (with $) convinced Congress that it was all the fault of the Local Lenders who live in the communities we lend in & can throw rocks from our back yards to hit the roofs of houses that we've financed. 

I work with non profits that provide community based living services for individuals with special needs.

I am excited to meet people and learn from the community :)

I am not sure how big the company is, but in central PA I know "Community First Fund" will give loans w/ higher interest to people or companies that do not qualify for a traditional bank loan.  

I thought I would present this situation to the BP community and ask their advice and opinion on the whole concept of paying off debt versus using Real Estate as a vehicle to help you reach your goals.

I've basically been working on my own handful of rental property investments but am now looking to plug in to the greater experience and community of real estate investors in San Antonio.
