Individual companies as company policy can pick and choose which guidelines to follow. 

@Sam Reddy - Once you get the permit approved, I believe the Zillow and others pick that up or you would have to claim your listing in all of the places and update it.

View some properties, walk around neighborhoods, pick a different area to explore each time you head out, spend some time in the area, you really learn a lot that way.
