Vinyl Flooring Decisions

I’m currently renovating my rental property and putting in new vinyl flooring into the living room and hallway. I purchased the flooring I liked better aesthetically between the two I picked out and once I got home I noticed the planks do not have a foam padding on the bottoms like the other one did. The boxes still say no underlayment necessary as it’s attached but it’s hard rather than foam. Should I be this torn about foam vs no foam backing? I am laying onto wood subfloor as there is a crawl space.
