I wouldn't say its the worst area but its in the middle of some bad one, I would say I think your overpaying for the area.

While I understand that they cannot prorate rent they have not received, I am a little concerned that I will be stuck in the middle with the tenant claiming they paid the property management company and the property management company claiming they haven't received it.

Hi All --Anyone recommend reputable RE groups that meet up or events in the Nashville - Middle TN area.  

Jd, owning one rental property and being a middle manager at Microsoft can hardly be comparable! 

I'm in the middle of a large renovation, but when this project is done, I might give the mailer method a try.

It completely changes things when there was an up-front cost and then another large cost in the middle.  

You can be in the middle of nowhere 15 minutes out in Illinois, which usually acts as a damper against runaway housing prices. 

I think the most likely events that will trigger a downward spiral are a recession and/or a faster paced Fed tightening of the money supply.

No effect on Middle or High Schools as of yet.
