Seems like a long distance or uninterested investor owner, maybe.

I won't be househacking in Iowa b/c my job will take me to Minne, but definitely looking into Long-Distance investing back in the Iowa Market.

You may have overlooked markets that are within driving distance.

I'm new to long distance investing, so appreciate any recommendations, referrals, and any helpful information on the market! 

I haven’t pinpointed a specific market however I am interested in both long distance and investing in my own backyard (DFW metropolitan area).

I always binge-listened to the BiggerPockets Real Estate podcast, the BiggerPockets Money Show, and the ChooseFi podcast while commuting and other multitasking.

Good value for multis at the moment remain in the outskirts of the city as prices are more attractive but shop by the highways and commuter rails and you'll be great there!

I'm in a town where most of my commutes are five minutes or less, so it's really not much hassle.A contractor will typically charge a small trip fee if they are stood up, just to cover the mileage and little bit of time.
