Windstorm, hazard insurance, and flood insurance loves to burn cash flow.

She also only keeps the gas tank about 10% full so the guests aren't able to burn up $500 worth of gas they didn't purchase.She understands the risk of someone taking the boat out on days unpaid for, but again, guests place their reservation for the boat before they understand the logistics of it are understood by them. 

Although that may burn out some people, there isn't a topic on real estate that I have not found interesting, and I find I am most productive when I can obsess over something. 

There may be a hole hidden behind the couch or a burn mark under the chair.

The developer is retiring and burning every bridge on the way out. 

I have heard stories of families trying to do this on their own, some of them work and others crash and burn.

All these investors that get burned in the midwest....they generally are not people from those markets.

And this mind-rot is blatantly evident in our society today, pick your metric, as the tail wag's the dog we descend into madness and the whole village burns.
