I listen to the Bigger Pockets podcasts quite frequently and I find them helpful and insightful.

As an architect I frequently find that cities will require updates for fire and life safety of buildings.  

One more great benefit for this is: I saw a thread about 2 months ago where a member mentioned been stopped by police frequently while driving for dollars.

Not from an auction company as they tend to be biased on that process and it's success rate BUT from an investor frequently purchasing at different ones.It's important that people use the word auction broadly but it can mean many different things.
