I (along with my fiance) own three residential properties (two in Danville, VA and one in Burlington, NC) and am looking to add another by the end of summer, so we'll get there one day.While I enjoy my full-time job of teaching biology and anatomy to high school students, I do want to get to a point where I can focus solely on expanding my real estate portfolio.

You also have a captive and infinite tenant pool with the students but there are city zoning ordinances that prohibit student occupancy in certain areas (This is designed to keep the frat-house away from grandma and grandpa Jones) it complicates things.

And honestly, even if you spent two hours with each (an attorney and CPA) would probably still cost you far less than one of those programs.I do want to add, since you mentioned auctions, that if you are a beginner I would strongly urge you to be cautious and perhaps reconsider the auction route.
