I have done really well with my condo in SF near Moscone convention center and I am a Super Host. 

I believe carpet is fully depreciated after 5 years anyway so I don't think you'll have much ground there unless you bought something super high with a commercial warranty.

New terminal is probably helping with that as it still rarely seems as busy as some other airports I’ve visited, at least in terms of security lines begin super short.
