In the future you may do a deal with this person again, and having that reputation as someone who is fair can go a long way, and conversely someone who is unfair will also go a long way but not for the good.

Lastly, I would suggest that you consider partnering with an experienced and reputable flipper in your area on your first deal or two.

I've been a wholesaler for over 10 years and have also done some flipping and would say that running things ethically will cause you to lose a bit here and there, but ultimately will build your reputation and therefore your business as you gain buyers who love making deals with you and people with whom there is mutual trust.
