Bankruptcy is nothing more than a process whereby a debtor's assets are sold and the proceeds distributed to his/her creditors (assuming it is a liquidation vs. a reorganization). 

My goal this year is to clear up my finances and start building my liquid savings to be able to jump on the good deals when I find them.  

Disadvantage is that if you're over leveraged and your positions lose value, you get a margin call and the brokerage (especially, this particular one with the sub 2% rates) will liquidate your position to create the extra cash.

It has saved us more than once as it sends a text message when it senses liquid and I know there is a problem before it gets too messy.

Can Seller (Bank) come after me for not performing transaction and ask me to pay bid money as liquidated damage?

There are also liquid rubber roofs that are sprayed on.

@Brandon Clark, Another option to consider might be to liquidate your primary home and capitalize on the tax free equity and thereby opening up the door to a new primary residence with say a 3.5 FHA loan on that Duplex, Tripex, or four Plex.

The money becomes too liquid and risky over a mass scale.  

I let the lack of liquid capital hold me back and just not getting out there as much as I should.  

I know those guys at CFX and think they've built an impressive product, however the lack of secondary liquidity cannot be solved by UI/UX.
