I just interviewed this company and they knocked my socks off!

QUESTION 1: Would you consider this a good investment; purchasing a renovated SFH, section 8 it, and utilize a management company?

I think urban versus beach for example have different demographics.Not sure of your room dimensions but if possible I would do:Master: King + Convertible sofaBR2: Queen + BunkBR3: Queen + BunkBR4: KingWould also have pullout in living room. 

Why, because of the extra work on my part to administer the hold backs, draws, inspections, etc.Now I can offer rehab money if they are willing to accept a third-party funds control company.

Could get a personal loan beforehand to help cover the difference.  

@Zachary Sales, state laws may differ so I don't know what your state does.

Obviously I want the lowest interest rate as possible, but the way I'm looking at it, is it doesn't make much difference if the interest rate on that 2nd mortgage is 6% or 9% since the mortgage interest is deductible.

Lots of different information out there so if there are any legal experts here, would really appreciate your thoughts.

In my experience these companies try to nickel and dime you as much as they can to increase their profits.
