Ask them if they will lend on line 120 of HUD-1 (..pretty sure it's 120) This process is a bit out of the box, which lenders are not usually a fan of.

Luis, as you know everything is a pain in the *** in PR, and the government has their hand out at every turn. i think some of the issues are that rents are not that high, and finding qualified people are difficult right now, especially when people are not working. it sucks, but its the facts.unfortunately the properties don't appreciate well down there, so you would be buying for a long term cash flow play

Austin proper is more of an appreciation play at this time.Duplexes in the Austin area are currently 189k to 1.8 million Tri's 600k to 1.2 million4's  400k to 1.55 millionBig gaps and the bigger the sales price the higher the note, taxes, ins etc which means less cash flow.
