If it's knob and tube wiring, the job isn't just replacing plugs - it's a full replacement of everything electrical which may well mean a gut.Just because you have the ground plug hole doesn't mean it's grounded.

If so what are some tips and tricks to keep things clean?

As I read my post after sharing it, I realized that one thing my graduate degree did NOT help improve is my grammar.. haha :)
