But how much sense does it make for us to pay interest on money that doesn't have any value and is merely printed paper created to make the transfer of value convenient? 

On paper, no causation to what I'm doing today. 

As a contractor I knew it wouldn't take much to redo one of these, so while the "paper value" wasn't there we completely redid them to look like nice homes (drywall real cabinets,vinyl windows, all plywood floors, and always a front door like would go on a nice house. and even sided some of them.

It's fairly easy to get a license but that piece of paper means nothing if you don't know what's up.

The population size would not by itself be a factor one way or another; we have seen some pretty major population centers go down the toilet. 

Honestly, having experimented with alot of software over the years, I've never found anything more flexible than a well formatted sheet of paper.
