Owning a property that will only appreciate over time is not a bad place to he in if you’re OK with being a landlord.  

I’m a multifamily syndicator and could toot by own horn but won’t.

This would essentially be considered defrauding his creditors because the creditors are entitled to the value of all property he owns.  

In fact, I am currently reading the book specifically on small multi-family units which has its own uniqueness compare to large units.

I know that the property owning LLCs should continue to pay the mortgages, but what other if any expenses should the property owning LLCs continue to pay vs the property management LLC.
