Do you file a joint tax return?

We brought in our main general contractor and offered him a joint venture where he took on the rehab costs and would get paid when we sell, plus a percentage from the profit.

Also need some tips when it comes to negotiating and convincing the owner, thank u in advance :))

If the investors are ALL active, you are setting up a JV (joint venture) and most real estate attorneys should be able to set it up, usually as a LLC.

@Steve MarionYou should joint venture.. perhaps use your line of credit fund a downpayment.

Anyone have experience designating your LLC (RE rental income/loss) as a qualified joint venture?

If titled jointly, or as tenants by the entirety, in a trust or in a life estate, you may have a living seller to deal with (surviving joint tenant, surviving spouse, Trustee or remaindermen). 

How do potential tenants react to u having them take this?

Will taking the forbearance have any effect on whether banks will give u another loan?
