I’m trying to take the RE exam in December and wanted to know if anyone knows really good resources either online or books aside from crash courses to study and practice for the real estate exam?

I also collect rent in person each week. 

I'm i entitled to collect rent for the month of November or just for the duration of stay in November 2.

Never say for some business or rent collecting reason. 

Do your due diligence to let them know that they owe you money, then turn it into collections. 

Hard for the average guy to do, but he has the resources and contacts.

The home was occupied at the time by a tenant and the property manager had collected the tenant's security deposit before I closed on the home a month later. 

CA is not one of them.apartment managers that LIVE ON SITE do not need to be licensed but the rent still has to be collected through a license brokerage.. the on site manager just pass's the checks or rent to the licensed brokerage and there job is showings and day to day maintenance etc.. also referring tenant issues.. what U describe is a licensed activity.
